When we moved into the new digs, there was a weird, sort of plant stand thing in the front hall. It has since been converted to a work table for my viola making project.
When we went to move it, we found that the previous owners had painted around it instead of moving it.
It wasn't easy finding a match for the paint and it was used through the foyer and the hallway, so I went for a dark colour and made it a "feature wall" (I'm told it's called that). So here's the front entrance now. (The sun was shining in, the paint isn't really blotchy.
Now I have to figure out what to hang on the wall.
