Spamalot

Okay, so tomorrow is the big day. The Lexiphage and Fiddling Granny are going to see Spamalot.

Should be fun, the play's promotional material says the show features a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits and one legless knight.

Here's part of the write-up.

Directed by Tony Award-winner Mike Nichols, SPAMALOT tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail. Flying cows, killer rabbits, taunting Frenchmen and show-stopping musical numbers are just a few of the reasons audiences everywhere are eating up SPAMALOT.

The banana's been traumatized too

Only you ... wouldn't remember the bump or the slip

So you're going to see Laura, who'll adjust you some more

If she can puzzle out what she needs to do

Notice John ... hasn't let your insurance expire

Trying to go up in flames, it is really quite lame

Now the woodstove's all covered with goo

Only you ..... would forget how you fell on your knees.

We thought you should know, you should walk on the snow

And and not try to dance the "old soft shoe"...

From a branch, as you were passing by.

Only silly asses would take off their glasses,

When they're bushwacking on their snowshoes.

Oh you didn't know there was ice under the snow,

And that hubby was watching you too.
