Great Give Away

You can read the whole story of the Great Giveaway on CG's blog this portion is to show Susan the lovely gifts she was given and by whom. They're in no particular order.

Gryper's Missus gave her this lovely little ornament ... a pitcher with a floral display on top.

I gave her this pretty dish, it would look lovely with a tea light in it with it's off white and pale pink sides.

CG gave her this lovely wine carafe, with the unusual handle - very pretty on a formal dining table.


Vee donated these cobalt blue beauties. Some thought they would be elegant plates for cookies, I personally like the idea of wine coasters to protect the tablecloth from nasty dribbles.

Gryper was given this lovely parrot, which he knew in his heart of hearts would utterly take Susan's breath away with it's colourful plumage. So kind of him to put Susan before himself.





This is Jojo offering a gift of a trinket dish, although there's no indication, I think it may be Czechoslovakian crystal.


We know Susan will love these gifts.

The finale is the wine glass. It is a gift from the group to each other (Gryper declined, for reasons that will be come clear). We each have a wine glass with which to toast Gryper at the swing bridge (at his suggestion) on that breezy day in the future. We decided there would be other occasions when we would all plan to simultaneously sip wine from our glasses.
