As I've been going through pictures preparing to blog about the past weekend, I've been struck by another one of Life's Mysteries ... make that one of Life's Annoying Mysteries.
1) Where the heck is Zamboanga??
2) Why are the monkeys there tail-less??
3) Why did some stupid song that Gryper sang stick in my head for the better part of a day, many days later??
Answers
1) The highly-urbanized city is located on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It is one of the first chartered cities and the sixth largest in the country. Zamboanga City is also one of the few cities independent from any province. Zamboanga City is also one of several cities in the Philippines that are independent of any province, though it is usually grouped with Zamboanga del Sur for statistical purposes.
2) Apparently they were bitten off by the whales. What the heck were monkeys doing where whales could get to their tails, and further "Why is it spelled monkeys instead of monkies?"
3) Gryper planned it that way. He just plants "ear worms" and wanders off giggling.
Back to my original post plan.
If I can concentrate that is!

You're probably right .... you should be worried, you'll have to help change you mother's diapers and wipe up her drool!
It's a little known fact that when the whaling ships put in for supplies, monkeys came aboard and stold whale meat.
When the ships left, the monkeys figured where the whalers got the meat and started hanging their tails in the water to try to catch whales, meanwhile the whales had followed the ships in, saw the tails in the water and bit them off.
Not knowing how large whales were, they kept trying and kept loosing their tails to the point that as with all evolution, the monkeys started to reproduce tailess offspring.
By the time that whaling stopped, it was too late for the monkeys and the whales were not able to satisfy their desire for getting a piece of tail, they left the area
and got their tail elsewhere.
